General

Is mail order available?
Unfortunately, currently there are no regulations in place to allow for mail order of non-medical cannabis products.
Can I return/exchange product I bought pre-legalization?
Unfortunately all cannabis products sold prior to Oct. 17th, 2018 are now considered illegal as it was not obtained from a government authorized source and has not been recorded along with FARM’s cannabis retail license number. We were operating in the old medicinal cannabis dispensary regulatory market, having been licensed by the City of Victoria prior to Oct. 17th, 2018. FARM is moving forward compliantly in Canada and BC’s now legal cannabis retail market. Due to these changes we cannot accept, exchange, or allow cannabis products sold before Oct. 17th, 2018 in FARM stores.
Can I speak with someone to answer cannabis related questions?
Yes, you can contact us by phone 250.592.0027 or email your inquiry to info@originalfarm.com and we will be sure to get back to you as soon as we are able.
When are you open?

Legalization

What is B.C.’s approach to cannabis legalization?

The Province of BC has made the following regulatory decisions. Adults 19+:

  • May possess up to 30 grams of legal cannabis, dried or equivalent in non-dried form, in public.
  • May share up to 30 grams of legal cannabis with other adults (giving or selling to youth is a criminal offense and there are several measures that help prevent youth from accessing cannabis within the Cannabis Act).
  • May buy dried or fresh cannabis and cannabis oil from a provincially-licensed retailer.
  • May make cannabis products, such as food and drinks, at home as long as organic solvents are not used to create concentrates.

No. No one under the age of 19 is allowed into The Original FARM. Cannabis products are not intended for nor marketed to children and all FARM customers must be 19 years or older. Anyone purchasing for minors will be banned from future visits across all FARM stores.

What are your ID requirements to shop in store?

FARM is responsible for ensuring that minors do not enter the store and are not sold non-medical cannabis or cannabis accessories. If there’s any doubt whether a patron is 19 or over, FARM and our Team Members must take reasonable steps to verify age by requesting two pieces of ID, examine both pieces carefully, and act on the authenticity of the identification. If FARM Team Members cannot demonstrate that we have done this, FARM could be held responsible for allowing a minor to enter our store and for selling cannabis or cannabis accessories to a minor. This is strictly prohibited in the terms and conditions of maintaining our cannabis retail license.
Everyone will be asked for 2 pieces of ID; one of which must be a government issued photo ID by the door greeter who uses a Patron Scan. This is to ensure you are 19+ as children are not allowed in the store.
